Pettit & Griffin, Inc. has developed and sold over 5,500 residential units and has been involved in many other projects.  The company’s main focus was new homes building in planned communities located mainly in Prince Georges and Montgomery counties.  

The Community of Flower Hill was the last large planned urban development by Pettit & Griffin,Inc. This development consists of over 2000 residential units including single family homes, townhomes and apartments.  The community boasts an elementary school, many recreational parks with paved pathways, a community center with an olympic sized swimming pool and pavilion. Planned open space, lakes (water management), tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamond areas, tot lots are also incorporated the communities design.

The Community of Flower Hill is a crowning achievement for Pettit & Griffin, Inc.  John H. Pettit, President and Charles Galeano, Vice President worked tirelessly to assure affordable housing progress.  We celebrate and thank these men for their great leadership.

Pettit & Griffin, Inc. is no longer actively in residential home building.  Other Pettit Family corporations have continued to build custom homes.
